| This is up to you and
your time schedule. We prefer that you be
there the first time but if you can't then
we will discuss access with you prior to the
cleaning appointment. Please leave a list
of things to clean and a phone number where
the cleaner can contact you with any questions
or concerns. |
|
| What do I do
about cleaning supplies? |
| This is up to you.
You can use your supplies or the cleaner can
provide them. If you choose to use your supplies,
the cleaner will leave you a list when she
is running low. If you use the cleaners supplies,
we will find out what kind of materials your
home is made of and the cleaner will bring
the appropriate supplies. |
|
| What if I am
not happy with the cleaner you send me? |
| If you are not happy
for any reason, we will send you different
cleaner on your next visit who better meets
your needs. It is very important to use that
you are happy. |
|
| How do I pay
for the service? |
| Payment is due at the
end of each service. On the first visit, if
you are home the cleaner will call and we
will make sure you are happy before you pay.
If you pay with credit card, we will take
the information over the phone. You may pay
cash, check, made payable to Sparkle
Clean Agency pr debit card. Payment
should be left at the end of each service. |
|
| Do the cleaners
accept tips? |
| Yes, the cleaners do
accept tips. There is no set percentage in
our industry but most people tip between $5.00
to $20.00 per visit, depending on the size
of their home and the efficiency of their
cleaner. |
|
| How will the
cleaner know what to clean? |
| When we talk to you
on the phone, we send you a packet in the
mail with a brochure, letter, card, and price
list. You can make your priority list and
pet peeves before the cleaner arrives. |
|
| How much time
should I spend explaining things to the cleaner? |
| This is a personal
choice but remember the cleaner is getting
paid from the time she walks in the door.
We suggest you have your list and supplies
ready and that you spend about 10 minutes
and let the cleaner get to work. |
|
| What if something
gets broken? |
| The cleaner will leave
a note and ask how you would like to handle
the breakage. The cleaner will also call the
office and let us know what has happened. |
|
| Do the cleaners
speak fluent English because I have had wonderful
cleaners in the past, but we could not converse? |
| All cleaners speak
English. Communication is just as important
as good cleaning. |
|
| Is it true
that you do floors on hands and knees? |
| Yes we do. Most of
the cleaners choose to do it this way. However,
we do have a few who prefer not to do it that
way. We will address this at the time of scheduling. |
|
| Can I have
the same cleaner each time? |
| Absolutely. If you
and the cleaner agree that you want to have
an ongoing relationship and she has an opening,
absolutely. |
|
| Do you have
non-smoking cleaners? |
| Yes, upon request. |
|
| What if I have
big dogs? |
| Let the agency know
and we will discuss how best to handle these
situations. |
|
| Do the cleaners
use feather dusters? |
| That depends on you
and what you prefer in your home. Believe
it or not, some people prefer this so the
cleaner can spend more time on detail in other
areas. This is up to you as an individual. |
|
| What if the
cleaner gets finished before the 3 hour minimum
is up? |
| If the cleaner finishes
early, have a list prepared for them so they
can do little projects until their time is
up. The cleaners will also let you know if
they need more to do. |
|
| Who do I tell
when I need to change my appointment? |
| Call the
office. |
